It's interesting to note that it wasn't until my grandpa's funeral that I found out that he used to play guitar and sing. But it's really cool to know. I guess knowing that will make some of the lyrics make more sense, huh.. A little 'Behind the Music' for you. Also, I added a little background stuff that I'm sure you'll notice.

Lyrics:
Did you ever wonder why
Did you ever even cry
Do you know you said goodbye
Can you hear me cry
Did you ever make peace
Did you ever get to see
Was it everything you need
Can you see you in me
Are you the reason for
The music in my soul
Can you hear it anymore
Do you know what's done
For the rest of us
Do we know enough
Did you know enough
Did you ever wonder why
Did you ever even cry
Do you know you said goodbye
Can you hear me cry
Did you ever make your peace
Did you ever get to see
Was it everything you need
Can you see you in me
Can you guide my soul
Til I'm almost home
So I'm not alone
So I'm not alone
Can I make it home
Did you make it home
Did you ever lose your fear
Do you know I miss you here
Did you ever shed a tear
Is it all so clear
If you never even knew
If I ever got to choose
You know exactly what I'd do
But heaven needs you

If you are really observant, you will notice that I've put up a lot of vi
